Love it longer
Hair extension care guide
Remy hair is real hair. Treat it gently and it lasts 6 to 12 months or more.
01
Washing
Wash 1–2 times a week with sulfate-free shampoo. Work downward from root to tip, never scrub or pile hair on top of your head. Condition mid-lengths to ends; keep conditioner off tapes and bonds. Curly textures love a co-wash between washes.
02
Drying
Squeeze out water with a microfiber towel. Air-dry curls and waves to keep the pattern; blow-dry tapes and wefts fully at the root so attachments never stay damp.
03
Heat styling
Always use heat protectant and keep tools under 180°C / 350°F. Remy hair holds a curl beautifully, so you rarely need more. Avoid heat directly on tapes or weft tracks.
04
Sleeping
Never sleep on wet hair. Braid loosely or wear a low ponytail, and use a silk or satin pillowcase or bonnet to reduce friction and tangles. Remove clip-ins every night.
05
Storage
Store clip-ins brushed out, in their box or a silk bag, away from sun and heat. Keep a pack of tapes or wefts dry and flat until your stylist reinstalls them.
